Demo site

This site is a technical demonstration of the Runique framework. It has no commercial purpose.

Data collected

When creating an account:

username, email address, password (hashed, never stored in plain text).

Use a real email address: your account is activated through the link sent to it, and it is also used to reset your password.

If you use them: the articles and contributions you publish, with the information you enter in them (an article's email and website, for example), and the files you upload.

As on any website, your IP address is processed to route requests, protect the site from abuse and keep server logs.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses no advertising cookies:

— id: session cookie, needed for the site to work and stay secure

— lang: the language you chose, kept for one year

— theme: the light or dark theme, kept in your browser (local storage)

Hosting and service providers

Data is stored in the database of the server hosting this site. To work, the site relies on Cloudflare, which requests pass through, and on an email delivery service for activation and reset messages.

Data usage

Your data only serves to run this site. It is never:

— sold

— used for commercial purposes

— used for profiling or marketing

Data retention

Data can be deleted at any time upon request. The demo database may also be reset without notice, which erases accounts and content.
